Ken Baker
Ken Baker, CASP, LEED AP serves as Vice President and is the leader of the firm’s Senior Living specialty. His career blends a public service record with a successful business background. Formerly a member of the Tennessee State Legislature and a Representative of the U.S. Secretary of Labor, he now focuses on building relationships and providing information that help REES’ clients accomplish their goals. Ken’s responsibilities include strengthening the ties between REES and current clients and building relationships with potential clients. He provides leadership to increase the firm’s presence in the highly competitive senior living industry. He was instrumental in working with state officials to effect the recent changes in Georgia’s regulations governing the issuance of Certificates of Need for Continuing Care Retirement Communities.
In 1988, (thru 1990) Baker organized The Lincoln Company in Atlanta to provide strategic marketing and government affairs planning for businesses. Baker departed from the usual approach and assisted clients in developing agendas to become proactive in their dealings in the marketplace and political arena. In addition, he designed a corporate Government Affairs program which assisted a national construction company in building relationships with key decision makers at the federal, state and local level.
