Gary Pitts
Gary Pitts, AIA brings over 30 years of experience in a wide variety of public and private work. This work history represents the following sectors: Aviation, Commercial, Corporate, Education, Health Care, Hospitality, Government, Multi-Family, Single Family, Retail, and Recreation. Lately Mr. Pitts has been most active in the Multi-Family markets of all types, from student housing to senior living, from low-rise HUD projects to high-rise luxury condos. Often, these projects are on urban in-fill TOD (transit oriented development) sites within an existing urban context.
These projects are generally a mixture of uses, predominantly (mid-rise) residential buildings wrapping parking structures, they include ground level retail and private office uses. Many of these projects include existing historic properties that are to be faithfully restored and repositioned for their new use. Mr. Pitts has extensive experience working with the National Park Service (NPS) and the local State Historic Preservation Officers (SHPO), following specific standards for Historic Tax Credits.
