Architecture Firm Announces New Healthcare Segment Leader

Rees Associates, Inc., an Oklahoma City planning, architecture, and interior design firm, is proud to announce the promotion of Stephen E. Lawson to the position of Healthcare Segment Leader. As Healthcare Segment Leader, Stephen will be responsible for overseeing all healthcare marketing and sales firmwide. He will directly report to Frank Rees, President/CEO of Rees Associates, Inc., and will be supported by marketing resources and healthcare and interior design staff in achieving the firm’s sales goals.

Stephen assumed the role of Segment Leader on January 1, 2008. The former Segment leader, Jerry Hovorka, will continue to support Stephen in his new role through the beginning of the 2009 year.

“One of the greatest achievements in our professional careers is to become and create a successor,” Hovorka said. “I have had enormous satisfaction leading the Healthcare Segment over the past 6 years and look forward to participating in future Healthcare marketing and sales efforts under the direction of Stephen. He will bring a much-needed fresh approach to the process.”

Stephen is an Associate of the firm and is a registered Architect in Oklahoma and New Jersey. He holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Buffalo. Since joining the REES team in 2005, Stephen has been instrumental in numerous projects, including Saint
Clare’s Health System in northern New Jersey and the Sisters of Mercy Health System based in Saint Louis.
