Mauricio Amado, AIA, MBA, an Architect at Rees Associates, will be speaking at the following conferences:

He recently spoke at the Asociacion Mexicana Asistencia en el Retiro conference in La Jolla, California (he is Vice President of International Relations of this organization); American International Real Estate Expo and Conference in Los Angeles; and the Congreso Internacional de Arquitectura 2008 (in conjunction with Arq. Alejandro Maíz Garza) in Monterrey, Mexico.

Mauricio received his Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad del Valle de Mexico, a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Idaho, and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. In addition to over 20 years experience in architecture, he has also been a corporate trainer and instructor for CAD applications and Architectural Design courses.

A registered architect in Texas, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, as well as Mexico, Mauricio is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is also the Co-Chair of the AIA Dallas Young Architects Forum and Chair of the AIA Dallas Leadership Committee.
