REES Celebrates Two Long-Time Employees
REES, an architecture, planning and interiors firm, is proud to announce long-time anniversaries of two staff members.
Celebrating his 20th Anniversary as a REES team member, is Jay W. Tullis, AIA. Jay joined REES as a contract employee in 1988. In October 1994, Jay was promoted to Vice President of the firm and in November 2007, Jay was appointed as Director of Operations for the Oklahoma office. He is a licensed architect in twenty-three states including Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas. He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects, Leadership OKC, Class XIII, Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce, The Commercial Real Estate Council and the American Society of Military Engineers.
Dr. Frank Rees, President and Chief Executive Officer of REES, believes Jay Tullis, “sets an example everyday about what a person can achieve. He joined REES while he was a high school student working in the print room. He quickly set an example of how someone can elevate their position to one of excellence and turn the print room in the Oklahoma City office into a well organized enterprise. Jay later brought REES out of the dark ages by introducing REES to CAD as our first CAD technician. Jay has grown as a professional architect having been the senior member of the design team on multiple multimillion dollar projects.
Jay is a person with multiple talents. He has served as the firmwide Director of Information Technology and currently serves as the Director of the largest REES office located in Oklahoma City. Jay makes REES a better firm everyday.”
Mandy Schneider is celebrating her fifth anniversary with REES and is an Associate of the firm. Mandy’s area of responsibility includes vendor invoices and payments, employee expense reimbursements, timesheet postings, consultant accruals and special projects for the Assistant controller and the CFO. She has an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Microcomputer Technology from Oklahoma City Community College.
