REES Founding Partner for DCFA Campaign
DALLAS - REES is one of sixteen Dallas architecture firms to be Founding Partners for the new Dallas Center for Architecture. The DCFA (Dallas Center for Architecture), hosted and managed by the Dallas Chapter of AIA, is the result of a three year vision of the Dallas AIA leadership, to deliver programming and collaboration with like-minded people who appreciate the built environment, the value of architecture, and community planning. These organizations include the Dallas Architectural Foundation, Dallas Architecture Forum, International Interior Design Association, Urban land Institute, Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation and the U.S. Green Building Council.
REES is proud to be a part of this vision to grow the DCFA and its public programming while keeping a focus on four core areas of interest to its membership:
▪ Education of young architects, leadership development, and professional growth for licensed architects
▪ Advocacy promoting the professional interest of its membership at local, state and federal levels
▪ Outreach to allied and academic networks to build pubic awareness of the value of both architecture and planning for livable communities
▪ Environmental advocacy promoting sustainable design
