NATIONAL ETHICS COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT AT AIA 2009 CONVENTION

Members of the AIA National Ethics Council presented "You Make the Call: Even More Preposterous Practices by Peers" on April 30th, 2009 at the National AIA Convention in San Francisco, California.

The panel, moderated by REES Board Member Emeritus Bill D. Smith, FAIA, reviewed the AIA Code of Ethics and gave participants the opportunity to assess five real-life case studies for compliance with the code. At the end of the session, actual outcomes of the case studies were presented.

Bill Smith, FAIA, has been practicing architecture for more than forty years. He is a current member of the AIA National Ethics Council and a former member of the AIA National Board of Directors.
