REES Congratulates Make-A-Wish Foundation® in Oklahoma City on New Headquarters

REES congratulates the Make-A-Wish Foundation® in Oklahoma City on their new headquarters designed by REES. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® was able to move into the new facility in March 2009.

Since the 4,500 s.f. new space is within an existing building, the design preserves the history with a loft-like appearance exposing all load-bearing brick walls and exposed ceilings. Creative and inexpensive were the baseline for design. The interior design relies heavily on artwork, graphics and
quotes from the children helped by the organization, as well as original art pieces donated from local artists. All vendors and consultants on the project team donated their services or products either at a 100% or 50% discount.

“The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oklahoma is extremely grateful to be in our new office space. With the help of the team at REES, we are able to live in an office that is both child-friendly and professional!”, said Erin Byers, Director of Program Services and National Sponsorships.
