SCHIEFFER SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM EXPANSION COMPLETED

The newly renovated and expanded Bob Schieffer School of Journalism at Texas Christian University showcases the College’s commitment to excellence in journalism and strategic communication education.

“Completion of TCU’s expansion and renovation of the Bob Schieffer School of Journalism marks a commitment to convergence and collaboration,” said Patrick Bumpas, REES specialty leader for Higher Education. “Students will experience a significant advantage as they begin their careers in the public arena.”

The heart of the renovation and expansion is the School’s centrally located Convergence Center, which encourages interaction between students of different fields of study. The Center includes a converged news room, and laboratory and teaching space, as well as live television and radio components.
