REES ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBERS

REES is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul K. Carlton, Jr. M.D. and C. Leroy James, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP to its Board of Directors.

Dr. Carlton currently serves as the Director of the Office of Homeland Security for the Texas A&M University Health Science Center. A retired Lieutenant General of the United States Air Force, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1969 and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado in 1973. Dr. Carlton served as the surgeon general of the Air Force from 1999 to 2002.

Mr. James is currently the Vice Chairman of REES Since joining the firm in 1978, he has served as Project Director, Executive Vice President, Director of Operations, and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. James holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. He is a registered architect in twenty-five states, a LEED Accredited Professional, and is NCARB-certified.
