VETERANS ADMINISTRATION PROJECTS CREATE FUNCTIONALITY AND FLEXIBILITY
Since the construction of the original facility in 2000, REES has been proud to continuously serve the Atlanta Regional Offices of the Veterans Administration. Designed to be less governmental in feeling and more “corporate” in nature, REES’ subsequent projects at the VA have enabled the facility to adapt to the evolving needs of the Administration and to provide enhanced functionality for user groups.
Working in an on-call capacity, REES’s recent projects at the VA Regional Offices include:
• Space planning and restacking plans for workstation and departmental reconfigurations;
• Development of standard interior finishes and selection of new finishes to correspond with established standards;
• Design to address post-9/11 security issues in front entry area;
• Working with user groups to define needs, including filing options and open workstations that allow employees to collaborate effectively.
REES’ history of work with federal governmental agencies includes award-winning projects for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Social Security Administration, and the Internal Revenue Service. To learn more, please click here.
