HERBERT W. ARMSTRONG PERFORMING ARTS CENTER OPENS
Completing a dream that was years in the making, the Herbert W. Armstrong College’s new Performing Arts Center will open its doors to the public for the first time on Sunday, September 5th.
The inaugural performance in the new $20 Million auditorium will be Felix Mendelssohn's "Elijah," to be performed by the College’s own choral union.
The facility, which will attract world-renowned performers to Edmond, Oklahoma, is as acoustically and technologically advanced as it is visibly opulent. From the magnificent crystal chandeliers to the extra-wide theatre seating, the new facility treats guests and entertainers alike to a performance venue unparalleled in the Oklahoma City area.
"This is the difference between flying coach or first class," said Shane Granger, Marketing Director for the Armstrong International Cultural Foundation to the Edmond Sun.
