MUENSTERBERG PLAZA AND CLOCK TOWER AWARDED
REES’ Muensterberg Plaza and Clock Tower project has been recognized as an “Outstanding Achievement in Concrete” by the Indiana Chapter of the American Concrete Institute!
The monument, located in Berne, Indiana, was erected to symbolize the historic roots of the community and its current civic identity. Modeled after the famed 15th century clock tower in Bern, Switzerland, the tower is intended as a tribute to the past and an inspiration for future generations.
“The vision to create the Muensterberg Clock Tower and Plaza was inspired by the recognition that ‘what you learn in Berne’ is not only worth celebrating, it’s worth preserving in a way that uniquely reflects our Swiss heritage. The values brought here by our founding fathers were an important part of my own growing up in Berne, and I’m proud to say those values still guide me.”
- Keith Reinhard, Honorary Chairman, Muensterberg Plaza and Clock Tower Steering Committee
