PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: FORT SILL SCIF
Delivered in conjunction with Fort Sill Apache Industries, Inc., the new Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) at Fort Sill will support the needs of the Defense Intelligence Agency and the National Security Administration.
The 3,000 square foot renovation will provide classrooms and offices within an existing facility on base. The “open storage” SCIF will be secure from both physical and technological intrusion, with barriers to prevent the entrance or exit of telecommunications, radio frequencies, or other sounds. An optical scanner and card reader will be included for access control.
The project is scheduled for completion in July 2012.
