Innovation

What is innovation to you? The simplest definition as described by Webster's dictionary is "a creation resulting from study and experimentation; the creation of something in the mind; the acto fo starting something for the first time; introducting something new". For an architectural firm, innovation is a primary concern and practice. Each client deserves to be provided with an innovative solution unique to the client's circumstances and the problems the client is facing when creating a new space.

International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Benefitting Oklahoma Interior Design Coalition (OIDC) Bowl-A-Rama

REES Oklahoma City team members participated in the IIDA Bowl-A-Rama to help support the Oklahoma Interior Deisgn Coalition on Thursday, June 23rd. During the event, there were team and individual contests of high score, low score, best costume and best team costume. REES team members included Michael Cromaz, Kate Warren, Libby Rankin, Melody Stinson and Jason Wint. The team's costume theme was a baby shower for 16 and pregnant following in the footsteps of MTV. Although the team did not win any prizes, we think their costumes were straight out of a reality show!

Happy Independence Day to all of you!

I thought today it would be fun to give you a little insight to what some of our staff will be doing to celebrate the great US holiday this weekend. Take a look! We hope each of you are celebrating in your own way and enjoy a fantastic holiday weekend! Also, thank you to all of those who serve our country now and in the past. Without your strength and dedication, we would not be able to celebrate this year!

Music, boating, water skiing, eating, several adult beverages, and of course fireworks on Lake Kiowa......

Also much fo the credit is due to our team member, Pelton Mash Kinsella, our acoustical engineers on the project. They never disappoint in their fantastic abilities and efforts on our projects.

A little Rivalry never hurt anybody, right?

The Western Conference Finals may have had two of the REES offices pitted against each other (during the Mavericks v. Thunder theory you could often here chants in the background via conference call or video conference), but in the championship game the offices joined together to support a local team to one of our offices the Dallas Mavericks. Although it was difficult for the OKC Thunder fans to turn their attention to the Mavericks, the team played well and won the championship! In celebration, there was a parade yesterday through Dallas that just happened to pass by our Dallas office.
