Originally constructed circa 1975, Electra Memorial Hospital commissioned REES to renovate and expand their facility to provide for the hospital’s growing needs.
The renovation will enable rehabilitation services to be moved in-house, with easy access for both inpatients and outpatients. Additionally, the CAT Scan equipment will be moved indoors from the trailer in which it is currently housed.
The expansion will include the addition of 20 inpatient beds. The central nursing station will be renovated and expanded, enabling the staff to observe both outpatients recovering from minor surgery and those recovering from Phase I procedures. Renovation will be completed to provide a dedicated waiting room for the clinic and to expand and upgrade the dietary area.
The renovation will include an upgraded facade, a new entry canopy, and expanded parking.
REES is also helping Electra Memorial to expand their laboratory and upgrade it to meet current CLIA standards.
