Stillwater Medical Center asked Rees Associates, Inc. to help expand its existing Outpatient Rehabilitation Services into a freestanding facility.
The original 7,250-square-foot facility consisted of seven treatment cubicles, a 2,500-square-foot exercise area, a therapy pool, an occupational therapy area and a work hardening area. The services were moved into a newly renovated 28,000-square-foot facility designed by Rees Associates, Inc. The construction project provided a state-of-the-art facility and allows for the treatment of additional patients and growth of wellness programs.
The outpatient facility provides hospital-based physical, occupational and speech therapy services for orthopedic and neurological conditions. Additional services include medically based wellness programs and general healthy lifestyle fitness programs.
