Design Refresh of Fortune 100 Information Technology Office

In a suburb of Columbus, Ohio the local office of a Fortune 100 Information Technology company was in need of some attention. The existing office space was tired and had been inherited with an acquisition. The space did not meet the user’s needs, nor did it reflect the appropriate corporate identity. The new design is energized with color to create identity, way finding and a sense of neighborhood in the 220 workstation open landscape. The design maximizes natural light penetration into the space and creates a connection to the outdoors and to the large atrium space within the building. Community spaces consist of focus rooms and team rooms for individual and group interaction. Lounge areas and a well-appointed kitchen and cafe space provide a variety of work settings for interaction and a departure from the heads down work space. The new space exudes the identity of the business both internally and externally.
