The Federal Aviation Administration’s Centralized Services Building on the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) Campus was initially designed by the architect commissioned by Jacqueline Kennedy. The facility functions as the primary food service, catering and banquet facility for all MMAC employees, as well as a large population of visiting trainees. The first-floor dining area was rebranded with modern appointments and aeronautical themed interiors. Food service areas received major renovations to visually compete with popular retail food venues while the food preparation areas underwent complete kitchen equipment, refrigeration, storage, employee support and finish replacement. This project included 4,500 square feet of new construction and an 18,000 square foot renovation.
