Top Security Field Office for The Federal Bureau of Investigation

The 247,000-square-foot Federal Bureau of Investigation facility, in conjunction with the GSA, was designed to harmoniously blend necessary security features and functional office space. The design utilizes natural Texas limestone, both smooth and rough cut, as well as granite, cherry wood, bronze and glass throughout. The four-story facility includes a staff parking garage, office spaces, fitness center, atrium, public lobby and guard station. The perimeter is secured by state-of-the-art fencing and security technology.

“REES has been my architect of choice for more than 25 years. REES’ strength as project architect is understanding client and user needs and incorporating these requirements into a design that is economical to build and operate. More than any other architectural firm, the REES philosophy of paying attention to the needs of the owner for design and cost elements of a project is unusual.” - Mark Harris, President, M.L. Harris & Company
