Refreshed Labor & Delivery Unit for Baylor University Medical Center

The design at The Caruth Labor & Delivery Center at Baylor University Medical Cente reinforces the department’s reputation as “the best place in Dallas to have a baby.” The 22,000–square–foot project included a Pre–Natal Diagnostic Center, Obstetric Observation/Triage Unit, and a Delivery Center. This environment was designed to reflect the excitement and anticipation that comes with welcoming a new baby, but also fosters a sense of comfort via a timeless finish palette. The design includes a photography gallery featuring babies born at Baylor. These images are also used throughout the rest of unit.
