Innovative Healthcare Design for Loma Linda Medical Center

Loma Linda University Medical Center operates some of the largest clinical programs in the United States such as neonatal care, corneal transplants and outpatient surgery. The 16,900-square-foot satellite facility houses the functions of a cutting-edge ambulatory surgery center including four operating rooms, ancillary space with considerations for future expansion. The attached three-story, 68,300-square-foot Medical Office Building houses Loma Linda University Medical Center staff physicians and contains functions for physicians’ offices as well as imaging diagnostics and radiation therapy. The complex also contains a healing garden - designed to promote physical and emotional healing - with water features, walking paths, meditation areas and plant materials that are conducive to and help the natural healing process.
