Oklahoma-Inspired Design for Toby Keith Foundation's OK Kids Korral

The 25,000 s.f. state-of-the-art OK Kids Korral has 16 guest rooms, all of which include furniture, fixtures and equipment selected by REES. The REES Team also selected furniture and fixtures for additional spaces including a neutropenic wing for children with weakened immune systems, a gourmet kitchen, an indoor play room, an outdoor playground, a game room, a family resource room, a laundry room, as well as a theater and a reflection room. In order to create a true Oklahoma experience that reflects the Toby Keith Foundation, the house features icons found only in the Sooner state such as the blue whale from Catoosa, the round barn from Arcadia, a one-of-a-kind glass sculpture including Oklahoma’s 77 counties and various artwork from some of the state’s most talented artists. All furniture, fixtures and equipment were specifically selected with consideration of patient care and treatment for the entire family. Because the facility is located in close proximity to The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center, the OK Kids Korral is a much needed place of refuge for both patients and their families.

“The families staying with us will be under unimaginable pressure. We simply hope that the care and thought we put in the house, brings them a little happiness and peace,” - Juliet Nees-Bright, Executive Director, The Toby Keith Foundation
