This 40-story building is Fort Worth’s third tallest. One of the unique features of the structure is that the tower of the building is turned on a 45 degree angle.
It also features a number of setbacks to allow light down to the street, similar to buildings in New York City.
Not only does the shape of the building provide a wide range of floor sizes, but due to its orientation, the tower produced significant energy savings. In addition, the streamlined design reduced wind pressure to 83 percent of code-required values, resulting in major structural cost savings for the Owner.
The developer and project manager delivered the project three months ahead of schedule and $3 million under budget.
**Project completed by former JPJ.
