Designed for one of the leading PBS organizations in the U.S., the new, multichannel GPB Telecommunications Complex is a 230,000-square-foot public broadcast and distance learning facility that serves the communities of Georgia and enhances distribution of educational programming throughout the country.
The complex houses Administrative Headquarters, GPTV Public Television (9-station PTV network), Peach State Public Radio (12-station network), Distance Learning Center (6 studios and channels), local television production and is designed to accommodate future conversion to digital electronic media. Split by a three-level atrium, the building accommodates live events with seating for 250 and serves as a focal point for neighboring community groups and organizations.
