Founders Square is the result of the successful preservation and adaptive reuse of the Higginbotham Bailey garment manufacturing and warehouse building in downtown Dallas.
The unusually large, 40,000-square-foot warehouse floors were converted to a more marketable size by the inclusion of a full height atrium. Offset from the center of the building, it provides a point of orientation, and creates marketplace leasing depths on all seven floors.
Materials and forms used throughout the public spaces create a smooth transition between the building’s historic features and the traditional decor desired by the tenant.
**Project completed by former JPJ.
