United Airlines Red Carpet Clubs

Over a four year period, Rees Associates provided major services including re-imaging, planning, design and construction to United Airlines for more than 30 facilities at airports throughout their worldwide service area.

The projects consisted of Red Carpet Club Rooms and First Class Lounges for both domestic and international travelers. All required working relationships with airport consulting engineers, construction managers, and local UAL staff. Some were built in existing facilities, some were renovations, and others were part of new airport construction. Facilities ranging in size from 2,500 square feet to 36,000 square feet were differentiated by utilizing materials native to each club’s unique location.
