The University of Central Oklahoma is one of three major universities in the State of Oklahoma. UCO commissioned a Campus Master Plan to address growth demands within the urban setting of a thriving community, obtain a competitive advantage, and align these with their strategic plan.
The plan was partitioned into four five-year increments. Priorities within the master plan included organizing the campus into academic, athletic, and student living zones, addressing parking proximity and expansion, celebrating historic elements and University traditions, and reaching out to the community and educational partners.
The REES team employed the FACILITY BUSINESS PLAN® process to prepare the master plan and facilitate communication between the University, community, students, and business entities.
