The Killeen Independent School District commissioned REES to renovate and add to an existing facility built in 1954.

The addition was planned to accommodate the changing needs and demands of technology, instructional methods, demographics, and population characteristics. New facilities include the addition of nine classrooms to meet the district’s requirements for flexibility and class size, to provide for the safety and supervision of students, and to facilitate the teaching and learning process.

Four science laboratories were added to provide a safe environment in which to study science while meeting state regulatory requirements. An exterior entrance to the library and administration addition encourages use by both the students and the community before and after school hours, creating an important and accessible resource center.
