East Central University - Fine Arts Center

Ada, Oklahoma

The Performing Arts Center recreates the entrance to the East Central University campus and will become a cultural center for theater, music, performing arts and Mass Communication in an eighteen county region of Oklahoma.

The Hallie Ford Fine Arts Center will provide a performance hall with seating for 1,000. Funding is provided through a collaboration of private donations and public bond packages.

REES provided full architectural and engineering services, including theatrical and acoustic design, for a new 82,000 square foot Fine Arts Center. The Center is designed to provide a variety of uses to the University and the surrounding communities and is projected to impact the local economy by hosting various events such as concerts and plays.

“For me this building has many, many wows. My personal favorite wows are the views from the top of the balcony. I think it’s totally spectacular.”
- Dr. John Hargrave
President
East Central University
