After a master planning effort by REES, Weatherford Regional Hospital gained Critical Access licensure and REES provided the design for a 60,000 s.f facility.
The facility will houses 25 in-patient beds, 3 LDR rooms, with an ED that has two trauma rooms, a cast room designed as a third overflow trauma room, 4 exam/treatment rooms and one isolation exam/treatment room. The Imaging Department has one general radiographic room, one trauma radiographic room, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine camera and complete mammography suite. A specialty clinic with eight exam rooms is located adjacent to the ED so the ED can overflow during peak times due to highway traffic accidents or flu outbreaks.
