Denton County Facilities Master Plan

The Facilities Master Plan conducted by Rees Associates, Inc. examined all structures owned or leased by Denton County, representing 59 individual buildings in excess of 700,000 gross square feet. Rees Associates is developed a 20-year facilities master plan (FY2020).

Denton County is the fourth fastest growing county in the state of Texas, experiencing a 47-percent population growth between 1990 and 2000. Services provided by Rees Associates included: operational needs assessment, facilities physical plant evaluation, space needs assessment, long-range growth and implementation strategies. Rees Associates provided these services in association with Carter Goble Associates.
