The 80-bed Kay County Detention Facility is designed on the concept of indirectly supervised modular housing pods.
A centralized control room provides visual access to all dayrooms and cells, allowing for a more secure and efficient environment. Support functions, including food service, housekeeping, laundry and intake, are within the secure perimeter but independent of the housing block.
