Modular Housing

REES is working with Provenance Power Solution Holding Co. LLC to design and manufacture modular housing prototypes to be used in areas of crises and disaster recovery.

Mass manufacturing of the modular housing units is to begin in mid-June 2010 with the first delivery occurring in July 2010.

The goal is to create a housing unit that is easily constructable and can be provided quickly to areas in need. The units are designed to be easily assembled using man power with minimal tools providing the limited construction time of under one hour.

The structure is able to withstand rather high temperatures (175 degrees Fahrenheit) without any impact to the structure. The structure also has excellent impact resistance to high winds, is very light weight, has very low moisture absorption and high tensile strength. The interior heat rating is similar to a mobile/trailer home.
