Infrastructure: Supports Tier III Data Centers
This 150,000-square-foot state-of- the-art Information Management Center and communications complex was originally designed to control four large information processing centers. Today, as a part of the Hewlett Packard Global Data Center Network, this facility is a hub for the management of local Tier III “trade” data centers as well as various operations in other HP “trade” data centers. The facility was designed to fit in with other buildings at EDS’s headquarters campus in Plano, Texas.
The Information Management Center also serves as a corporate training and marketing facility. It was designed to match the quality and character of the EDS corporate philosophy by combining high technology electronic communication with design excellence, economy, utility, durability and security.
