Designed as one of the nation's most technologically advanced complexes, the new KETC-TV community-supported facility takes St. Louis into the digital television age. Part of the theatrical theme of Grand Center, the building is depicted as an old arcaded, brick faced warehouse with a newlooking glass entry.

The 67,000 square foot facility is the first new building constructed in the Grand Center Redevelopment Area located in the heart of the old theater district, "The Broadway West of the Mississippi." The facility is designed to deliver Advanced Television once it is available.

The facility offers a variety of spaces that serve the unique needs of KETC-TV, ranging from production space for nationally televised live events, to space for production of nationally syndicated programs, and space needed for production of distance learning programs for the region. In addition, the facility provides for the myriad of events necessary to keep a public station in operation for the community, including auctions, fundraisers and social / educational events that benefit KETC-TV's viewers.
