The Fountains at Canterbury

The Continuing Care Retirement community repositioning adds a resort-like quality to the Fountains at Canterbury with lakeside cabana-style units, a trellis-covered terrace and extensive landscaping. Phase One involves a three-story, 27-unit expansion of the independent living community to be located on the lakeside of the existing community.

One- and two-bedroom living units offer spacious, residential-quality living apartments, including balconies. The expansion also includes expanded dining and common areas, unique cabana units opening directly out to the lake, and a landscaped greenbelt. An indoor pool that can be opened up to the outside and significant landscaping upgrades, including a lakeside terrace, are also included.

Phase One also includes the Gardens at Canterbury, an Alzheimer's "neighborhood" of three homes for 48 residents. Also highly residential
in character, the Gardens is a site adaptation of a concept designed by REES for the Fountain's facility in Tucson, Arizona.

Phase Two includes an addition of 27 living units and a new, larger public lobby and expanded marketing offices.
