REES Atlanta – Construction Cost vs. Budget Cost: A LEED Project Review
Our Atlanta REES office serves as a model for our clients and a tool to communicate the benefits of sustainable design at not substantial increase in construction cost. In fact, careful documentation of the actual construction cost versus budgeted costs is as follows:

If a high-grade carpet tile were substituted for the teak flooring, a difference in the construction cost would have amounted to $3.90 per square foot. |

The entire staff in REES-Atlanta participated in the FACILITY BUSINESS PLAN® efforts to program and plan the new office space. A LEED Charrette was included as part of the interactive programming process to determine the feasibility of achieving at least a Certified level.
