Marketing Coordinator (Dallas or Houston)

Help share persuasive and compelling stories about REES, our clients and our employees through multiple media. To achieve this, the person will: write clear and compelling copy; create content for the web, social media and printed materials; and assist in creating proposals and presentations for clients. This person will develop strong professional relationships with people inside and outside REES in order to support our marketing efforts. This position will be based out of either REES' office in the Dallas Design District or REES' office in The Woodlands near Houston. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Write clear and compelling copy
  • Proof copy and materials for grammatical and content accuracy
  • Build internal and external relationships to solicit and identify content
  • Maintain a schedule of content to be produced and coordinated with marketing calendar
  • Create and post written content to website
  • Create email content for email campaigns targeted at specific markets
  • Create content for social media channels
  • Monitor social media for mentions of the company, employees, clients and competitors
  • Manage contracted photography for projects
  • Create and collaborate on visual content such as small graphics for website, proposals, and infographics
  • Assist in development of any video content
  • Assist in identifying media opportunities to reach decision makers in target markets
  • Prepare and/or assemble written and collateral information, including press releases and brochures
  • Maintain marketing performance records
  • Photograph employees, meetings and job sites for use in marketing materials
  • Participate in professional organizations in support of marketing efforts
  • Elicit information and assistance from all personnel in the firm in the marketing effort
  • Write marketing content for project pages
  • Assist in rapid and accurate production of proposals and sales support materials
  • Coordinate strategy sessions and rehearsals for Dallas office
  • Assist in general office duties

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations or Mass Communications preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Sufficient use and understanding of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
