Classroom Wing Addition for DISD's Webster Elementary

Daniel Webster Elementary School needed to upgrade and expand its facility to meet the needs of its rapidly growing population. REES designed a 27,800–square–foot addition to include 17 classrooms and a science lab. Other spaces within the building include an assistant principal’s office with clerk space, book storage, restrooms, a faculty lounge, custodial closets, elevator and mechanical spaces. Sustainable design is a priority for Dallas ISD and was incorporated throughout. Some features include a new geothermal system, natural daylighting and the use of various recycled materials.
